The lessons are conducted with excellent structure, discipline and remarkable competence in a warm, positive, considerate and friendly environment. My daughters have grown in confidence over last 8 years from the age of 3 1/2 when they each started, to proficient dancers for their respective ballet, tap and modern grades. The classes are relaxed and fun but very focused on developing excellent ballet skills. I watched my three girls enjoying their classes and eventually gave myself the chance to try. “About 6 years ago now, a friend asked me if I would like to try an adult ballet class with her at Bowdon Dance Academy. I hadn’t had the opportunity to dance when young and it was something I had always wanted to do and so I thought I’d give it a try. I really loved it from the very first class!

Everyone is very welcoming and friendly and as well as enjoying the dancing, I have also made lots of new friends too.

There are adult classes on Tuesday night and Saturday morning. Mrs P. is an excellent teacher with a great deal of experience (as a dancer and teacher) and I really like the fact that she is also a life-long learner and always bringing new ways of executing steps and moves into class to share with us! I’m not surprised the academy achieves great results as Mrs P. deftly combines a focus on performance and execution with a very personal and caring approach.”
